Champa, 12th-14th century. The dish executed in fine repoussé, showing four monkeys in the center of the well surrounded by a geometric border, with a scrolling tendril border around the rim. Provenance: Ex-Collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above. Condition: Good condition with minor traces of wear, some tears and associated losses to the well, a tear to the rim as well.
