Champa, 9th-10th century. The ritual object finely executed in repoussé and consisting of several separately crafted pieces representing a lotus pod in the center surrounded by open leaves, all on a lotus base, likely used as an altar ornament. Provenance: Ex-Collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above. Condition: Good condition with some minor bending and tears, some small losses, and minor traces of age and wear.
