Khmer Empire, Angkor period, 10th-13th century. The plaques with fine repoussé depicting a dancing deity wearing a crown, flanked by two mythical beasts, and surrounded by leafy vines. Provenance: Ex-Collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
