Indonesia, Tanimbar, 19th century or earlier. The small shallow gold dish executed in fine repoussé, showing three phoenixes in the center of the well surrounded by a scroll border, with another scroll border around the rim. Provenance: Ex-Collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above. Condition: Good condition with minor traces of wear, few miniscule losses around the rim.
