FIRST EDITION, second issue, with the first line of the preface reading "Gl'amatori della lingua Toscana." A reprint of the Giunta edition of 1527, the work of several humanists who collated Delfino's 1516 edition against important manuscript copies, including the important Mannelli copy made in 1382, and which superseded all previous editions.
