Trendall in personal correspondence, March 15, 1991. Trendall notes the similarities to published parallels in determining this attribution, including Eros’ attributes of a phiale and wreath. This piece was later published in Trendall’s supplements to The Red-figured Vases of Apulia. A copy of this correspondence will be provided to the purchaser.
