合金铜 肩部有小裂纹 清宫笃信藏传佛教，持诵真言，表示对佛菩萨虔诚，由此可得脱离轮回之苦。因此除口诵经文外，还制作“玛尼”经筒，用手摇转，每转动一次代表念诵经文一遍，经筒旋转，即为转经。清代帝王多崇信藏传佛教，故此，宫中历代都会制作法器与具有浓厚宗教色彩纹样的器皿。 此件转经筒主体呈圆柱形，中间有轴以便转动。铜质细柄，经筒主体分上下两层，嵌刻有经文及图案，文字及图形凸起部分鎏金。
