清宫传统器皿中多有此类盒具，用于盛放各类点心、水果，因器形较大，恰可捧于双手，故名“捧盒”。此盒器型周正，圆形，上下盖子母口相合，盖面隆起饱满，圈足。整器饰珊瑚红描金，开光以粉彩绘山水图纹。纹饰疏密有致，技法多样。上下相映，绘工精湛。底以红彩书楷款“大清乾隆年制”寄托款。 来源：2008年嘉德拍得
