The reverse has a three-colour chased gold scene of a buck pursued by a hound, against trees and a water fountain on a sablé ground, reserved within a herringbone border with re-entrant corners heightened with incised lines, all against an engine turned ground with stylised floral sprays edged with a border of polished running bell flowers interspaced with lozenges against a sablé ground.
