A TIBETAN THANGKA OF THE GUARDIAN YAMANTAKA. Tibet, 19th Century. Tempera on canvas, Yamantaka standing in a fiery halo, wearing a tiger hide and a string of severed heads around his hips, with three faces and six hands holding various attributes, overseen from above by three figures of lamas and a Vaisravana flanked by Green and White Tara beneath, framed, 38 x 27cm.
