On both external sides, two seated sphinxs, affronting each others, with spreaded out wings on the back and tail rolled as a "s"; on their side, two draped figures. Under the handles, palmettes shoots. Double circles in the inner tondo. Intact. Provenance: Property of an English fashion and textile designer, said to been given to her as gift in the 1980s.
