c.1870, of ovoid form with a short spreading lip, the neck adorned with brocade panels above a body exquisitely decorated with finely painted finches amongst draping wisteria vines and river landscape with two tone foliage and blossom, with impressive gilt dot work rendering of clouds to background, above a receding and curved river scene accented with reeds and irises, the whole set above a circular foot adorned with lappet and chevron borders, four character gilt mark to base plus incised mark, height 24cm
