拍品以青玉采用圆雕、透雕工艺而制，由盒、盖组成，二者相合作石榴果状，顶端雕成石榴花，果身上缠绕枝、叶，叶脉清晰，翻转有致，郁郁葱葱，生机蓬勃，一只玉蝉栖于果梗之上，蝉翼纹路毕现，精细生动。石榴为清代常用装饰题材，因其籽多而密，故而用来祝祷“多子多福”之意。雕工精湛娴熟，设计灵动趣致，寓意喜庆吉祥。
