WHITE JADE BELT PLAQUE INSET WOODEN INK REST QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY the ink rest supported on two scrolling feet with one side extending outwards, the top inset with a rectangular white jade belt plaque carved in openwork with a sinuous four-clawed dragon in leafy tendrils, holding up a Fu (luck) and Shou (longevity) on either of its front paws
