A small Satsuma ewer. Possibly Osaka. Around 1900 Of ovoid shape with a very thin spout and small lid, finely painted in enamels and gold with two reserves filled with ladies in a garden landscape, surrounded by wisteria and flying swallows, below the lip and around the foot textile patterns. Signed Han (Saka) Kinzandô. Chips to the lid. Wooden stand. Height with lid 14.3 cm Provenance Private collection Rhineland, acquired from Gustav Poll, Gmünden, Austria, 15.11.1972 Kleine Satsuma-Kanne. Vielleicht Osaka. Um 1900 Bodenmarke in Gold: Han (Saka) Kinzandô Eiförmig mit dünner Tülle und winzigem Deckel. In Emailfarben und Gold in sehr feiner Zeichnung in zwei Reserven, gefüllt mit vornehmen Damen in einer Gartenlandschaft, umgeben von Glyzinienranken und fliegenden Schwalben, Textilmuster um Fuß und Hals.
