白玉质地，莹润致密，雕作圆形笔洗。笔洗浅腹，掏膛匀净，外璧及口沿打磨极为圆润光洁。洗内高浮雕盘龙纹，姿态刻画威武，龙张口向上仰望，身体盘成一团，有向上飞腾跃出水面之势。整器不加多余纹饰，素雅洁净，而内膛盘龙雕琢精湛，形神兼备有活力。此玉洗选材、纹饰及做工具有宫廷之风，应为清宫文房之物。
