The paint layer is stable overall. There is extensive retouching, mainly located in the sky. Mostly well matched to the original but applied wholesale and some areas have discoloured and now have a pink or green tone. The surface of the painting is very matte with flay spots and dust. The frame is sound but with some losses revealing the bright red preparation layer below.
