The paint layer is in a stable condition. There is a slight wrinkling to the paint layer following the lines of the canvas weave. The varnish is yellowed but even and semi-glossy. There is a thick layer of surface dirt present and insect droppings across the painting. The frame is in a good condition with some wear to the gilding.
