View in Sevenoaks Common, Kent, with figures and horses on a track oil on panel 29 x 40cm CONDITION: Paint layer stable. Slightly yellowed varnish. Few scuff marks in the lower left foreground and in the sky area. A network of age cracks has become visible in the clouds top centre. Edges of the panel, especially along the right-hand edge, show prominent scuffs and marks. Possible remnants of a signature lower right - appears to be strengthened. The verso of the panel is inscribed 'Sevenoaks Common'.
