Liebermann’s most significant and enchanting illustrative works included The Frog Prince (1904), an iteration of Grimm’s Fairy Tales, and the 1907 children’s anthology series Kindersang-Heimatklang. After abandoning his illustrative efforts, Liebermann produced a number of lithographic topographical works, only later becoming known for his paintings in oil.
