George Vernon Stokes (British 1873-1954), Huntsman and hounds crossing a stream, watercolour, monogrammed G.V.S. bottom right dated 8-10-24, measurements 25.5 x 35.7 cm Condition report: Lot 239 is a work on paper, the paper appearing of good condition with no obvious rips, tears or creasing, each of the four corners do have drawing-pin sized holes from probable previous fixing to a surface. They are covered by the current mount. The painting is initialled GVS and dated bottom right corner. The paint condition appears to be stable and well-preserved. No obvious signs of fading or deterioration.
