An 18th-century German glass and pewter-mounted tankard the cylindrical body engraved 'VIVAT in Gräfenthal / VIVAT in Cöthen" flanked by two winged angels, a crown, farming implements and grapes, interior of the pewter cover inscribed '1753', 25cm high Condition report: Please see additional images for the close-ups of the engraving, which include two pairs of stylised monograms. There are no cracks, chips, damages or any repairs to the glass tankard. There is just some slight typical wear/surface scuffing where the pewter mounts meet the glass and the lower pewter section is slightly loose. Please see additional images.
