Dimensions: 2-3/4" H x 4-3/4" Dia. Chinese porcelain thick potted in a well form, the deep rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to a lipped rim, covered overall in a black glaze falling short of the foot to reveal the brown body simulated the hare's fur streaks. The underbase glaze stopped before the foot base, displayed the grayish-brown ground with burnt and darker spots in the firing.
