Purchased in 1989 from Antiquorum "The Art of Patek Philippe" auction. C. massive, polished, hooded lugs. D. mat silver with applied gold "Baton" indexes + auxiliary seconds dial. "Baton" gold hands. M. 9'-90, tonneau, rhodiumed, "fausses-cotes" decoration, 18 jewels, lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance-spring, micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. The reference 2404 was first introduced in 1945. We believe that not very many examples were made and one can only find either yellow or pink gold examples.
