此花觚分三段式，上面是喇叭口，中间是鼓腹，下部是凤尾，器型古朴典雅。外壁通体施豆青釉，豆青釉起源于宋代的龙泉窑。清代豆青釉色浅者淡若湖水，色深者绿中泛黄，釉面凝厚，本品即为色深一类。其三部分均暗刻花卉图，刀法精细，布局规整，为康熙时期同类器中的佳作。
