A magnificent famille rose decorated vase, depicting scholars gathering on a spring day in an outdoor garden by a lakeside pavilion, perhaps the Lan Ting Gathering of Jin dynasty; each person’s face is painted in Fa Lan Cai style of Qianlong period, showing highlighted and shaded areas to give a stereo perception; similarly, the roof, the rocks, the steps, are painted in great detail and show fine structures; the border bands below the mouth rim, on the neck, shoulder, and around the foot are very elaborately and artistically painted, with gilt mouth rim; early Republic period, ca. 1916; with Qianlong mark; mouth rim damaged and repaired.|Early Republic period.||Height: 16 in (40.6 cm) Diameter: 9 in (22.9 cm)|民國早期 粉彩人物花瓶 口沿有修補|
