A late 19th century arts and crafts influence oak mirror-back sideboard, the scroll cresting above twin beveled mirrors flanking a central cupboard with leaded glass door, above two frieze drawers and twin cupboard doors having blind fretwork panels, raised on shaped supports.
137cm wide, 177cm high, 54cm deep.
Condition report: Provenance: The Southport home of poet Helen Fielden (1859-1950), supplied by the PIoneer Complete House Furnishing Store, Liverpool. A slim volume accompanying this lot shows the sideboard in situ, in a photograph taken in circa 1898.
