A Staffordshire porcelain group of a poodle and three puppies on a green cushion, c.1835-50, 9cm long CONDITION: Typical minor glaze imperfections, fine crazing to the glaze, the far right puppy is completely restored, otherwise in good condition. Provenance - Dennis G. Rice collection of 19th century English porcelain animals, Cf. Dennis G. Rice, Dogs in English porcelain, colour plate 77 and 79 for similar examples.
