Two Staffordshire porcelain figures of kittens, c.1835-50, 3cm and 4.6cm high CONDITION: Typical minor glaze imperfections, fine crazing to the glaze, wear to gilding on the bases, the recumbent kitten has tiny chips to the edge of the base, otherwise in good condition. Provenance - Dennis G. Rice collection of 19th century English porcelain animals, Cf. Dennis G. Rice, Cats in English porcelain, colour plate 57 for a similar kitten.
