Continental, probably German or Dieppe French, 19th C. A figural group of a bird seller enticing the woman seated next to him while another woman kneels and peers eagerly at his wares. Both womenhave applied silver jewellery, dress detailing, and bejewelled hair accessories. The man has a silver hat and applied clothing details. The figures are seated upon rock crystal mounted in a raised silver base with inset gems. Marks are notvisible. H. 19.5 cm (7 3/4 in.) L. 24.5 cm (9 5/8 in.)
