Large impressive Japanese Bronze Vase from the Meiji period. Very detailed. Vase that was previously converted to a lamp as part of the West's trend around the late 19th Century to make a lamps out of Asian Vases. A hole that has been sealed off at the bottom where the electrical wire use to pass and on the side of the base (see pictures).
