The Jizhou ware vase is of tapering form, painted with orange and white streaks over black glaze, bottom unglazed.|Song Dynasty period.||Height: 7 in (17.8 cm) Width: 4 1/4 in (10.8 cm)|宋 吉州窯彩繪瓶|此瓶唇口微撇，短頸，圓腹下垂，淺圈足處露胎，底部施釉，器形規整，線條優美，外壁通施黑釉與姿態各異的黃褐色斑紋，仿若天然玳瑁，別具一番情趣。吉州窯是中國現有保存完好的古代名窯遺址之一。它始于晚唐，興於五代、北宋，極盛於南宋，而衰於元末，距今已有 1200多年的歷史。
