The archaic bronze ewer is of elegant pear shape, body depicts mythical taotie beast mask, decorated with archaic patterns, arching handle raises from the sides to above the covered lid, extending from beast masks, the lid mounted with a bird knob on top.|Late Shang Dynasty period.||Height: 12 in (30.5 cm) Width: 5 in (12.7 cm)|商晚期 銅饕餮紋提梁壺|銅饕餮紋提梁壺通體銅材質，形製典雅、紋飾精緻且體型較大，口沿外撇，厚唇，頸部收斂，鼓腹，圈足厚高。蓋頂有圈形捉手，頸部延伸環耳，獸頭錦地饕餮紋提梁扣於其上。器頸部前後對應雕一獸首格外顯目。通身有紋飾之處皆錦地回紋，將主要紋飾加以強調說明，使得紋飾主體突出，具有強烈的視覺衝擊力。此提梁壺在同類銅提梁壺中屬於體量較大者，再加上器形雅致、紋飾精美，更顯古意悠遠，是非常難得一見的古銅器之精品，可藏可寶。
