The archaic bronze you jar is of bulbous form, body depicts a large taotie mask beneath multiple scrolling mythical beast bands, edges extrudes, a lifting handle rises from two edges originating from beast masks, above a pointed knobs on the cover.|Western Zhou Dynasty period.||Height: 10 in (25.4 cm) Width: 6 1/2 in (16.5 cm)|西周 銅饕餮紋提梁卣|器體厚重。口微外撇，頸稍收，腹壁圓曲，垂腹甚明顯，圈足底部外撇作高階狀。器蓋子母口，蓋中央設圓鈕。頸兩側設置活絡提梁，表面滿飾雲雷紋錦地夔龍紋，提梁兩端作羊首形。頸兩側亦飾對稱獸首一對。蓋面、腹部為獸面紋，獸面圓睜雙目，氣勢威嚴。紋飾均以隱起雲雷紋作地。蓋、頸、腹、足均有扉棱。紋飾線條流暢自然，技巧高超精湛，銅質敦厚典雅，精美華貴，頗為少見。
