The cinnabar lacquer carved box is of compressed form, the cover and box depicts flowers, vines, and leafy tendrils, interior and bottom in black lacquer, bottom bears six character QIANLONG reign mark.|Qing Dynasty period.||Height: 4 3/4 in (12.1 cm) Diameter: 10 5/8 in (27.0 cm)|清乾隆 剔紅花開富貴蓋盒|盒蓋面及底滿飾深浮雕折枝金萱花，花葉繁茂，柔婉有彈性。紋飾間隙以黃漆素地襯底，不雕錦紋。依刀口厚度推算，其上髹朱漆至少數十道，漆層腴潤肥厚。刀法藏鋒不露，隱起圓熟；紋飾寫實自然，繁而不紊，強調適度圖案化的藝術風格。朱漆色紅如雞血，澄澈欲滴。盒內及底部均髹褐色漆。刀刻填金“大清乾隆年製”六字楷書款
