The large charger depicts five-claw dragon flying amidst clouds within roundel, with scrolling cloud band at the rim, flowers and vines band on the exterior, bottom bears six character XUANDE reign mark.|Ming Dynasty period.||Height: 3 in (7.6 cm) Diameter: 16 1/2 in (41.9 cm)|明宣德 青花龍紋大盤|典型的宣德青花雖不像成化那樣柔和淡雅，也不像嘉靖那樣明快紫豔，但其發色沉穩肅穆，也別有意趣。此盤敞口弧壁，造型規整，線條柔美，施釉平整瑩潤。盤心青花雙圈內繪一立龍，口齒齜張，聲勢兇猛，外壁各繪纏枝蓮花，佈局疏密有致，寓意“江山萬代，延綿不絕”，甚是吉祥。整體紋飾描繪筆觸細膩，青花發色略呈灰藍，正是典型的國產青料“石子青”，所呈色澤與繪畫筆觸相應和，收到了良好的藝術效果。盤底施釉清透滋潤，青花雙圈內書“大明宣德年製”官窯款識。
