The blue and white moon flask is of flattened ovoid form, the body depicts magpie bird perched on tree branches with plum flower blossom, two ruyi shaped small handles on the neck and shoulder, bottom unglazed.|Ming Dynasty period.||Height: 10 in (25.4 cm) Width: 8 in (20.3 cm)|明宣德 青花折枝花鳥抱月瓶|器為明永宣青花瓷，其造型源自阿拉伯銅器。器型端莊雋秀，壺細口，直頸，扁圓形腹，橢圓形圈足，平砂底無釉，肩部飾對稱的如意形雙耳，許之衡稱為「口際飄雙帶」，這在整體視覺效果上達到均衡虛實之美。通體釉質瑩潔溫潤，色澤沉穩高雅。直頸，頸、肩處飾如意雙耳，扁圓形腹，秀美端莊。胎體細膩，釉面瑩潤。通體以青花裝飾，頸部繪青花翠竹，肩部及脛部繪變形花卉，腹部兩面繪喜鵲登梅圖，一面喜鵲翹首相望，一面喜鵲低頭俯視，繪畫生動，寓意吉祥，青花淡雅略有暈散。此件扁瓶佈局疏朗，底部亦飾雲肩紋，筆法簡潔洗練，細膩流暢，圖案寫實，生趣盎然，充溢內外。無論在器形、紋飾風格上均為明代式樣，是青花瓷器的佳作。
