The cylindrical pot is decorated in the art of calligraphy and landscape and still-life painting of functional studio objects, in bright and multitude enamels of precious material such as auspicious Fu bats, pine bonsai, blossom flowers, bamboo, lingzhi, teapots, etc., simple but nonetheless essential elements of the scholar’s studio, with a hardwood tripod stand, probably late Qing period.
