All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in cobalt blue under glazed base color which contrast against the egg yellow fine color, depicted of Flowers blooms interspersed dense foliage, scrolling ruyi, vapors and flying crane trough cumulus clouds, banded with arrays of tropical leaves patterns. The glaze is seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy. The Lines of the drawings are clear, the light and dark shades are subtle. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The foot base rim reveals the cut edges during the making process, the base left unglazed with grayish creme-brown ground and dark spots of firing marks.
