Sri Lanka, um 1900. Kandy-Stil. Feuervergoldeter Bronzevollguss. Auf hohem, getrepptem und mittig eingezogenem Sockel stehender Buddha, gekleidet in langer Mönchsrobe. Seine Rechte ist zur Vitarka-Mudra erhoben, seine Linke hält das fein gewellte Gewand, welches seine rechte Schulter entblösst. Eine hohe Flamme bekrönt die Ushnisha. Sockel innen mit Spenderinschrift: "Im Jahr 1368 (1911 n.C.) Murasinghe Dewage, dem Amunawella Kumbura-Tempel gestiftet". Gesamthöhe 58 cm.
