A W.M.F. metal and glass hors-d’oeuvres dish c.1905, stamped maker's marks The metal structure with pierced sides and overhead handle, with four cut glass liners; together with a Kayser brass jardiniere embellished with catkins and with a ceramic liner; together with a pair of Art Nouveau style chamber sticks with faint mark 'Geschutz' WMF 31 cm long (4) WMF - the handle looks a little bent. Indentation on the outer boarder. There are old marks, wear and abrasions. The silver coloured surfaces are rubbed in places, the handle in particular. The glass liners appear to be original and there are a number of small slither chips and nicks to the rims and edges, but all could be polished away. Kayser; brass with old marks, stains, Verdigris and tarnishing. Wear to handles, feet and base. Ceramic - cracks, chips, losses, stains and deposits. Crazed. Impressed to the base 'EA', '3285'. The chamber sticks are quite heavy. Some old marks and wear. Possibly re-plated. The Geschutz mark does not look struck. Possibly pf more recent manufacture.
