A William Hutton & Sons silver mounted glass preserve jar with cover and spoon Mark of William Hutton & Sons, Birmingham 1901 The clear glass vessel with three applied, green handles, with silver mounts, cover and matching spoon; together with An Art & Crafts silver mustard pot with spoon, mark of James Fenton & Co Birmingham, 1906 & 1907 The pot with with a bifurcated handle with leaf shaped terminals, the hinged cover with a 'spade' shaped finial; the spoon with 1907 date letter, on ball feet Preserve 11.5cm high; mustard pot 8.5 cm wide (5) Provenance: Sheldon Shapiro & Co,21st September 1998 Preserve: glass with light wear to base. Silver elements with natural wear, rubbing in keeping with age and some use. Mustard pot: Hinge to cover is wobbly and has had a repair. An indentation to the lid. General wear in keeping with age and use. The bowl on the spoon has some indentations to the edges; general wear.
