An Art-Deco chromium plated, opalescent glass and rosewood oyster pick set c.1930, apparently unmarked The metal base with 'wave' like decoration supporting a removeable opalescent glass bowl of shell form, the rod handle at the back with rosewood finial, having an x-frame that supports the 12 spoons with pick ends 12 cm high (14) Provenance: Gazelles of Lyndhurst, 6th June 2013 Glass - The glass shell form bowl has a square prunt on the bottom that slides into the metal base and that has some chips to the corners of the prunt. There are some scratches and mould lines to the base of the bowl. The metal base, the chrome is bubbled and lifting beneath where the bowl sits and there are some losses. Some scratches, abrasions and wear to other metal elements and spoon/picks. The x-frame that supports the spoon/picks moves/hinged.
