A Caughley mask-head cabbage leaf jug circa 1785-90 transfer-printed in underglaze blue with the Pleasure Boat or Fisherman and Cormorant pattern, printed S mark, 22cm high (nibbles to the spout) Provenance: Ex. Grice Collection. Condition report: Old restoration to spout, the very edge of the spout has and been rebuilt with some signs of good restoration to the rim either side of the spout when viewed under UV. There is a small chip to the spout and some glaze loss in this area. No further signs of damages or repairs
