The broken swan-neck pediment with foliate decorated 'frieze' above a 13" painted arched dial, the arch painted with a bucolic scene, with trellis spandrels, subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture and signed 'Samuel Harley Salop', the trunk with fluted 1/4 columns, the base with a razor-blade panel, with key, winder, two weights and a pendulum, (8) Condition report: In working order in the vendor's home. Finial later. Lacking 6cm section of glass 'frieze'. Base panel with vertical hairline crack from top to bottom. Nice colour and figuring. The height overall is approximately 235cm high, depth 25cm, width 53cm.
