An oak bureau on stand, basically 18th century, the fall front enclosing a fitted interior, the drawers with painted inscriptions, with a well enclosing 'secret' drawers, above a base set with three drawers and a shaped apron, raised on cabriole supports, 91cm wide 50cm deep 101cm high Condition report: Likely had a bookcase top at one point and rectangular top panel possibly a later addition, however, this appears to have been done some time ago using an old piece of timber. Splits, knocks, scratches, wear and repair throughout. Writing surface not original. Lock replaced. Knocks, general wear and repair throughout.
