A Charles II oak bible box, c.1680, the sloping, hinged lid over a carved front and sides, set with original iron lockplate, 67cm wide 37cm deep 30cm high Condition report: Old repaired knocks, chips and splits. Front half of the lid a later replacement. Small losses to edges in places. Old holes drilled in base. No key or lock mechanism.
