A William IV silver lancet case, by Taylor & Perry, Birmingham 1834, engraved with flowers and foliage within a double-dot border and containing two tortoiseshell handled lancets, 5 - 9cm long, and a Victorian silver lancet case, by Hilliard & Thomason, Birmingham 1871, of unusual hinged form, engraved with scrolling foliage and initials 'G.B.B.' in a reserve and containing two tortoiseshell handled steel lancets, 6.7cm long (2) Provenance: With Gerald Sattin, formerly of Burlington Arcade. Condition report: One security marked. Both minor wear, overall condition good, lancets are earlier examples.
