Bone Carving of a Ceremonial Dagger, Phurba, Tibet, 19th/20th century, in three sections, the finial with three heads of Mahakala crowned with a line of skulls and a central knob in the shape of a half vajra, the shank in the shape of a four-spoke vajra, and the three-sided knife protruding from the mouth of a mythical animal head with the third eye, traces of gold and pigments in some carved details, ht. 11 1/4 in.
