Gilt-bronze Figure of Buddha Akshobhya, Tibet, possibly 15th-16th century, seated cross-legged on a double lotus throne, with a vajra in front, his hands in bhumisparsha mudra, his face with gilt, gold lacquered, and painted details in red and blue (now mostly lost), double vajra mark engraved on base, ht. 3 3/8 in.
